So I am desperatley trying to get some scrolling functionality to work on a page. After not having a luck I decide to just stick window.

Nothing does happen. I have an accordion that expands and then I want to scroll to a specific element with in it. But for now I would be happy to just see the thing scroll at all. Anyone run into this? This is because the scrollbar you see is not that of the window, but that of the body. I was able to resolve this problem using jQuery method animate.

I am building a web app, and part of that web app needs to scroll to the top when an action is performed. This is handled using window. Turns out there was not a set height on the main element in the body, which meant scroll to wasnt working however the transition CSS was giving the element height automatically in webkit Fixed the CSS to give it a set height and it works again!

So you don't have direct access to window. You're correct, it works that way! I must have done something wrong, because I actually had tried the goDo commands as well.
